Did I mention my new food blog yet?

If not, I am now: South Jersey Foodie.
Since I'm no longer posting restaurant reviews or other food articles to Yahoo, I decided it was time to just start my own food blog, anyway. I've been working on linking/tagging up all my previous reviews to the blog, and starting to publish new content there as well.
Yes, I am shamelessly putting advertising links all over the site, but that's how we get paid, right? Right.
Anyway, if anyone has a food blog that they'd like to exchange blogroll links with me on, please let me know.

Date: 2011-05-01 09:02 pm (UTC)I'm going to be working more on adding Amazon affiliate links, and also start submitting links to my reviews to Urbanspoon to help drive traffic (you can't do that with Y!CN reviews as you need to be able to include a link bank to Urbanspoon for that.)
I was just really annoyed by my brief experience with Foodie BlogRoll and glad I dropped them. It didn't seem like they brought significantly more traffic, and they didn't say ANYWHERE in their faq that their ads were in fact google ads, only that they were "compatible" with using google adsense. So I kept asking them, if I have 2 of your widgets on my blog, which it turns out are "ads by Google", can I still have 3 from Google Adsense directly? Or are your two counting against the 3 I can have per page with Google, only now I'm sharing click revenue with you instead of getting the whole amount?
They never would answer me, in over two weeks from sending a support request. Then deleted my question when I posted it on their Facebook page. That gave me the impression they weren't being anywhere near as upfront and honest with their members as I was comfortable with. Plus they were very insistent on all of their ads/widgets being "above the fold" which made IMHO the page look super cluttered and junky.
