Well, I did it. I completed the Giant Squid Quest on Squidoo and managed to write 30 new lenses (plus lensography) on a new "niche" topic for me. The last few were a real rush job over the weekend but now I can go back and work on expanding them and improving them. I got my bonus points for the effort and it should be featured on the Squidoo HQ blog sometime in the future, according to the notice I got yesterday.

I'm now quite burned out on writing Christmas-related content and want to switch gears for a bit, beyond promoting these through the season. I'd like to get to 100 lenses by the end of the year so I can apply for the next Giant Squid level...I'm only 15 short of that goal so it might be doable.
